You can still find fossils in the limestone if you look carefully. The piles of rock at the base of the limestone outcrops are a good place but please take great care.
Please do not make large individual collections as the number of fossils have reduced due to collectors.

Brachiopods
Look for the remains of brachiopods, an early marine shellfish that had two shells.

Crinoids
Crinoids, which looked more like branching plants but were actually related to starfish, can also be found. The small cylindrical segments that made up the crinoid stem are all that is usually seen.
