Victorian Halkyn Life in a Lead Mining Community

In late summer and autumn 2014, over 40 members of the local community volunteered to help make a short film interpreting the lives of the Victorian mining community on Halkyn Mountain. Younger children, teenagers, and adults worked together under the direction of Polly Snape and the film company, Minimal Media to try and capture the feel of Victorian Halkyn and evoke the mining era. We think they did a great job. Please take a look at the film and see for yourself.
